Jeff Tan was a former Head Chef in a well-recognised Fine Dining Restaurant called Hakkasan at Mayfair and Hanway Place with 600 cover. Hakkasan was awarded 1 star Michelin in Chinese Fine Dining restaurant during his 9 years in the company.
Dubai in Atlantis the Palm as an Executive Chinese Chef
After the successes in Hakkasan, Jeff Tan left Hakkasan at 2014. He challenges himself at Dubai in Atlantis the Palm as an Executive Chinese Chef. Within a year, The Atlantis was awarded the Best Chinese Restaurant in 2015 and the winner of Highly Commanded New Comer in The Time Out. In July 2014, Atlantis ranked 1 0f 5556 restaurants in Trip Advisor Dubai.
Viet Food with the Vietnamese Tapas and Wine Concept
His passion for culinary makes him return to London in 2016. He opened Viet Food with the Vietnamese Tapas and Wine Concept. Follow by Go Viet with the Vietnamese Modern Fine Dining Concept. He develops and set up the new business from start to finish. Jeff focused on establishing excellence operations and service while upholding outstanding culinary standards.
Viet Food awarded top 10 restaurant and also best tapas must try “Coconut Calamari” in Time Out 2016. Go Viet named in Michelin Guide in 2019.
Viet Lounge was Jeff latest creation, opened at 2017 with the concept of cocktail and small plates joint atop his well-regarded Soho Vietnamese restaurant Viet Food.
