Chef Lu Yao, the Chinese Executive Chef of Yihe Brand who has been engaged in the management and cooking work of hotel and Chinese kitchen for many years.
He has been working for several five-star hotels which belong to the “Jinling” brand and learned rich experience of Chinese cooking skill. He has participated in a number of top dignitaries banquet reception work, include Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, Former President Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore Huang Gencheng, Former KMT chairman Wu Boxiong etc.

During the month of November in 2009, the twelfth China & Europe leaders summit and the Fifth China & Europe Business Summit was held in The Purple Palace, Mr. Lu lead his team to complete the reception work very successfully which included the prime minister of Sweden John Fredrik Reinfeldt, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, Eu Common Foreign And Security Policy Senior Representative Solana, Euro Group Chairman Luxemburg Prime Minister Juncker, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet and Eu Economic And Monetary Affairs Commissioner Almunia etc.
2012, Mr. Lu joined the Yihe Mansion Hotel in Nanjing, work as Assistant of Executive Chef / Executive Chef until today. While he is working in Yihe, he serviced many top luxury brands’ banquet such as Blancpain / Mercedes-Benz / Rolls-Royce / Tiffany & Co / Porsche and so on.
2017, Chef Lu Yao was invited by Relais & Chateaux to participate the “Obsession 17” Chef Event in The Northcote Hotel England. This event has been successfully held for 17 years which is one of the most famous gourmet event in Local. 23 Chefs which awarded total 16 Michelin stars was invited for that year included Chef Lu Yao, he perfectly presented a traditional Chinese cuisine dinner for 120 guests during the date of Chinese Spring Festival in Blackburn.
2018, Chef Lu Yao was invited to participate the “Festival of Colour” Chef event in one of the top luxury hotel in Maldives. He presented three Chinese cuisine set menus which are the most popular menus in Yihe Mansions Nanjing.

Indeed, the Menu and wine list at Le Siècle is more than spectacular. One selection is the Salmon Mi-cuit as a starter, the Poached Canadian Lobster as main course and the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake for dessert. But no one goes there only for the food.
