Tradition, Journey & Excellence
First of all, German Twins Chefs Thomas & Mathias Sühring’s culinary journey began while spending their annual school summer breaks at their grandparent’s farm. At that time, they got introduced to old school cooking techniques like fer mentation, pickling, smoking, drying and curing which are rooted in the German tradition.
Then, they worked throughout Europe under iconics Three Michelin Starred Chefs such as Sven Elverfeld at the Restaurant “Aqua”, Jonnie Boer at the Restaurant “De Librije” and HeinzBeck at “La Pergola” before moving to Thailand in 2008.
Since March 2016, Sühring showcases the best of modern German fare inspired by childhood memories and family recipes. Most of all, all elevated to the level of haute cuisine and combining the essence of traditional dishes with contemporary Central European influences
Quality, Style & Comfort
Since then, the brothers now invite their guests to their home, offering a warm hospitality in a relaxed, soothing and elegant environment. Moreover, all drinks follow the same philosophy as the twins’ cuisine. Indeed, Sühring offers four dining ambiances where innovative food and personalized service are of equal importance. The cozy “Dining Room”, which is the main dining area, provides a relaxed and homely eating experience. The more dynamic “Kitchen” is a very unique place. There, you can discover the bustling heart of the kitchen together with your friends, colleagues or family, enjoying a direct view of the twins chefs and their team crafting your culinary journey.
Furthermore, the “Glass House” which provides a peaceful and natural atmosphere. On top, a beautiful garden view will take you to the most romantic of candlelit dinners. If you wish to dine privately, The “Living Room” accommodates up to 8 persons in the upper floor.
In the latest edition, the bothers have been awarded of a second star in the Michelin Guide 2019!
